Theme for the Year: Trust in the Lord
I want to encourage students and staff alike to trust the Lord in every thing we do each day.
Verse for the Week
“The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe.”
Student of the Week:
Congratulations, Isabelah and Robert for being the students of the week!
Isabelah (2nd grade) likes to play volleyball. Her favorite subject is reading. Freddy’s is the restaurant she’d like to go to. Adam & Eve is her favorite Bible story. She also enjoys her mom’s pancakes and tea. Her favorite place she has visited is the dentist. During the pandemic, she went fishing.
A 6th grader, Robert, would go to Carabba’s if given the choice. His favorite subject is math. He enjoys chocolate milk, Kit Kat bars, his mom’s tuna casserole, and playing Xbox. When he grows up, he wants to be a missionary to the army. He has two guinea pigs and a hedgehog as pets.
Field Day: Thank you to everyone who helped with Field Day. In spite of the weather, I think everyone had a good time. Parents, we appreciate your help with supplies!
Yearbooks: Don’t forget to order your yearbook. Cost is $15. Order forms are in the office.
Scrip Cards: Help support the Academy by ordering gift cards on Tuesday. This is the last week for this school year.
JH/HS Exam Schedule: On the back is a schedule of final exams for the 7th-12th grade students. Dismissal is at 11:15 am for them on these two days.
Awards Chapel: Friday, May 21 will be Awards Chapel. Parents you are welcome to attend! This school year will be officially over after chapel.
Uniform Swap: We are working on a uniform swap some time during the summer. Stay tuned for details.
